Blueberry & Raspberry Smoothies

October 28, 2008

I’ve no idea when I saw much discounts for these items in the Giant Hypermart last week. Finally, I decided to buy some of them. Now, I don’t know what their function in my fridge is. Coz so far I just serve them as a regular drink without additional. Stuck in my head. Can’t think clearly, even such a simply idea. How ’bout cake? Sorry, not now…. I don’t want to use my magic to spell these yoghurts become a cake.

Blueberry Smoothie

Let’s see what the remains in my cooler…

Ingredients:
500 ml raspberry / blueberry yoghurt
200-250 ml sweet condensed milk
ice flakes (optional)

Direction:
I love shaking than blending them.

Raspberry Smoothie
I made this raspberry smoothie 3 weeks ago. And I prefer enjoy this than the blueberry smoothie. The smell is sooo good. Especially there are more raspberry flakes from the yoghurt here. Hmmm… yummeee!

Summer Treat

July 8, 2008

Long Island Iced Tea

6 ice cubes
1/2 jigger gin
1/2 jigger vodka
1/2 jigger white rum
1/2 jigger tequila
1/2 jigger Cointreau
1 jigger fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon sugar syrup (see note)
Cola
Lemon slice, to decorate

Put the ice cubes in a mixing glass. Add the gin, vodka, rum, tequila, Cointreau, lemon juice and sugar syrup. Stir well, then strain into a tall glass filled with ice cubes. Add enough Coca Cola to fill the glass, and decorate with the slice of lemon.Note: To make sugar syrup, heat 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan until the sugar dissolves.

Heiyya… is it enough to treat you too?
Me?! It’s success laying me down in the backyard. Doing sun-bathing. Wearing my new sun glasses & listening to the Hawaiian music from iPod. While suddenly “Grrrr….. rrarrrr!” Yayy, my neighbour’s dog comes after me. Gosh!
